The program was created in 2016 with our Paralympians in mind. ORLEN is a strategic sponsor of the Polish Paralympic Committee and the Polish Paralympic Team, while the ORLEN Foundation funded special scholarships for medalists of the Paralympic Games.
We know how many obstacles Paralympians have to overcome to be able to fight for medals. We want to help them in this so that they can devote as much time to training as possible.
At the 2021 Tokyo Olympics, 22 scholarship recipients won a total of 26 medals:
- 8 PLN,
- 6 silver,
- 12 brown.
