We created this program with the descendants of Poles displaced to the East in mind. We award scholarships to young people who start or continue their education in Poland - the country of their grandparents and great-grandparents.
This scholarship program is the result of cooperation with the Foundation for a Countryman started in 2018. We are convinced that there is no better way to repatriate than to support young people who return to their ancestral homeland to study. During this time, they get to know Poland, the realities of life, and gain friends. After graduation, they naturally enter the labor market, often supporting siblings and family in moving to Poland. Every year we announce a new recruitment for the program, and in the academic year 2021/2022 we helped 51 students.
