The ORLEN Foundation together with ORLEN has been running the ORLEN grant program for firefighters for 20 years. As part of it, units of the Volunteer Fire Brigade and the State Fire Service apply for grants for the purchase of equipment, including fire engines, drones, thermal imaging cameras, professional radio stations or specialized protective clothing for droogs.
Since the beginning of the programme, we have supported fire departments with grants worth over PLN 21 million. Over 2,000 people have benefited from the program in the last 20 years. fire units from all over Poland. The equipment purchased thanks to the grants improved their combat readiness, and thus contributed to the increase of security in local communities.
